Not much is left of the causeway to the right - the railings have disappeared and all that remains is a few concrete 'sleepers'. Large blocks of stone are scattered at the shoreward end.

Notes:	This is said to be oldest surviving lighthouse in Wales, and the second oldest is said to be the Salt Island lighthouse this puts it before 1821, at the beginning of the first industrial revolution.
