Corran Lighthouse Lodge is situated on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe, on the west side of the Narrows in Corran, a tidal sea loch on the West Coast of Scotland. Built in 1857 by Robert Louis Stevenson’s father and uncle, it was one of a chain of lighthouses marking the route to the Caledonian Canal.

The separate lighthouse is still in operation – without a fog horn!

The original lighthouse keepers’ cottages, have now been converted into holiday accommodation with it's own private walled garden, but it also has direct access to the beach.

It is accessible by road being just off the A861 highway but it can also be easily viewed from the Corran Ferry, which crosses the loch just north of the Narrows from Nether Lochaber to Ardgour, nine miles south of Fort William.

Getting there:	2 miles after the Ballachulish Bridge, turn left onto the A861 (signposted Corran Ferry). Take the ferry across to Ardgour (the last ferry to Ardgour is 21.30).After leaving the ferry, turn left and the Lighthouse can be seen from the road.
