November

Dull November brings the blast…

Wildlife

Mixed flocks of finches, such as chaffinches, greenfinches and goldfinches, scour the countryside for food.   while lakes and estuaries are home to Arctic species of wader and wildfowl, and start to fill the spaces.

hedgehogs	looking for a place to hibernate, may be attracted to the annual bonfire - so take a look before lighting
bats	go into a state of torpor
badgers	bed down for the winter
Atlantic salmon	return to their spawning grounds to breed
Grey Seals	give birth to their pups Can be seen around the coasts of Britain, particularly during the breeding season off North Scotland, Cornwall, east coast of England, South Wales and Ireland.
