Article Tamron UK Lens Prices Across UK SuppliersThe following is a guide to prices of Tamron Nikon Fit lenses from some UK suppliers. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but what we have tried to do here is to show the sorts of prices that you can get lenses for within the UK. The Tamron column shows Tamron's Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of the lens as it appeared on one of the suppliers listings in February 2008, the Tamron website did not list prices, and is being shown so that you can see the sorts of deals you can get from the various suppliers. Nikon D40, D40x and D60 cameras do not have a mechanical drive to focus lenses, so only lenses that contain an electronic focusing motors will work with these cameras. In the table below we have highlighted the Tamron lenses that will work under D40/60 column. Di II lenses will not work with D3. The 18-250 lens has 2 models one without the electronic model and one with the electronic motor in it so as to work with these cameras. The prices highlighted yellow show the cheapest price for that particular lens as at the time this list was put together where more than two suppliers listed the lens. If you are aware of any UK dealers, mail order or otherwise, that offer better prices then please let us know. We hope at some point to do a study showing prices across countries.
