Where to Photograph
Waterfalls in Scotland
We are attempting to list all places where
photographers can photograph waterfalls within Scotland. This is the start of a list
that will both grow over time and
hopefully we will be able to add more columns or information.
Where the names in the first column is hyperlinked
this links to a Location page with more information on this
site and over time more of these will be added, we will be delighted if some of
you would like to also produce location pages.
Codes: FC = Forestry Commission, Wiki =
Wikipedia, NTS = National Trust of Scotland, BE = Britain Express

Falls of Clyde The Falls of Clyde comprise the upper falls of
Bonnington Linn, Corra Linn, Dundaff Linn, and the lower falls of Stonebyres
Linn. Corra Linn is the highest, with a fall of 90 feet. Bonnington Linn (fall
of 30 feet), Corra Linn and Dundaff Linn are above New Lanark and located within
the
Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve
managed by the
Scottish Wildlife Trust.
The
Clyde walkway
long
distance path passes all four falls and ends at Bonnington Linn.
A report read " YETHOLM FALLS: Now that the water levels in the
Bowmont have returned more or less to normal after the recent floods, the river
has, however, changed its course in several places. One of these is in the
Venchen Haugh where the water now runs closer to Kirk Yetholm and a new
waterfall has developed." Kirk Yetholm = Grid ref NT8228
This list will continue to grow as we come
across new places. REMEMBER if know of somewhere that you feel is a good
place please let us know.
